Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2026

Luma is a local-first app: by default, every mood entry you log — moods, tags, notes, photos, and voice memos — is stored only on your own device. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you explicitly turn on cloud backup.

What we don't collect

We don't require an account to use Luma, and we don't sell, rent, or share your mood data with advertisers or data brokers. There is no third-party analytics SDK reading your entries.

Optional cloud backup

If you're a Pro subscriber and choose to enable backup, your data syncs directly to your own iCloud or Google Drive account — not to a Luma-operated server. You can turn this off at any time from Settings.

Face ID / passcode lock

Locking the app with Face ID or a passcode is handled entirely by your device's operating system. Luma never sees or stores biometric data.
